The fund generally invests in all of the securities which comprise the AMEX Gold Miners index in proportion to their weighting in the index. Under various circumstances, it may purchase a sample of stocks in the index. The index is comprised of publicly traded companies involved primarily in mining for gold and silver. The fund is nondiversified.
