It also offers various preventive maintenance programs and repair services; sterilization management consulting services; and other support services, such as facility planning, engineering support, device testing, customer education, and the sale of replacement parts. STERIS sells its products to healthcare, pharmaceutical, scientific, research, industrial, and governmental customers worldwide. The company was founded as Innovative Medical Technologies in 1985 and changed its name to STERIS Corporation in 1987. STERIS is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio. |
