The Wholesale Energy segment offers electricity and energy services to investor-owned utilities, municipalities, cooperatives, and other companies that serve end users or purchase power at wholesale for resale. As of December 31, 2006, this segment owned, had an interest in, or leased 37 operating electric power generation facilities with an aggregate net generating capacity of 15,935 megawatts in 5 regions of the United States.
