This segment also provides crane product parts and services, and crane rebuilding and remanufacturing services under the Crane CARE brand name. The Foodservice segment designs, manufactures, and sells primary cooking and warming equipment; ice-cube machines, ice flaker machines, and storage bins; refrigerator and freezer equipment; ware washing equipment; beverage dispensers and related products; serving and storage equipment; and food preparation equipment, cookware, and kitchen utensils and tools. Its products are marketed under Cleveland, Convotherm, Delfield, Frymaster, Garland, Jackson, Kolpak, Kysor Panel Systems, Kysor/Warren, Lincoln, Manitowoc, Merrychef, Multiplex, and SerVend brand names. This segment sells its products to commercial and institutional foodservice operators, such as full service restaurants, quick-service restaurant chains, hotels, industrial caterers, supermarkets, convenience stores, hospitals, schools, and other institutions. The Manitowoc Company has operations in North America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Central and South America, Africa, south Pacific and the Caribbean, and Australia. The company was founded in 1853 and is based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
