The Climate Control segment manufactures and sells a range of standard and custom designed geothermal and water source heat pumps and hydronic fan coils, as well as other products for the niche markets. This segment's products are used in various buildings, such as hotels, motels, office buildings, schools, universities, apartments, condominiums, hospitals, nursing homes, extended care facilities, industrial and high tech manufacturing facilities, food and chemical processing facilities, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Its customers include original equipment manufacturers, contractors, and independent sales representatives. The Chemical segment manufactures and sells concentrated, blended, and regular nitric acids, mixed nitrating acids, metallurgical and commercial grade anhydrous ammonia, sulfuric acids, and high purity ammonium nitrate for industrial applications; anhydrous ammonia, ammonium nitrate, urea ammonium nitrate, and ammonium nitrate ammonia solutions for agricultural applications; and industrial grade ammonium nitrate and solutions for the mining industry. Its customers include farmers, ranchers, fertilizer dealers, distributors, and industrial users of acids. LSB Industries was founded in 1968 and is based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. |
