| Kilroy Realty Corporation, a real estate investment trust (REIT), owns, operates, develops, and acquires suburban office and industrial real estate in suburban submarkets, primarily in southern California. As of December 31, 2006, its portfolio of operating properties comprised of 84 office buildings and 43 industrial buildings, which encompass approximately 7.8 million and 3.9 million rentable square feet, respectively.
