The company's EndoWrist instruments include forceps, scissors, electrocautery, scalpels, and other surgical tools. It also sells various accessory products, such as sterile drapes used to protect the sterile field during surgery; and vision products, including replacement 3-D stereo endoscopes, camera heads, and light guides. In addition, Intuitive Surgical offers AESOP Endoscope Positioner, a surgical robot capable of positioning an endoscope in response to a surgeon's commands; and HERMES Control Center, a voice activated operating room control system to enable a surgeon to directly control multiple operating room devices through verbal commands. The company sells its products through direct sales force and distributors in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
