Crocs sells its products through crocs branded retail store locations, including company-operated kiosks and retail stores; Web stores; sporting goods and department stores; specialty retailers; and sales agents and buying groups. As of December 31, 2008, it operated 70 domestic and international retail stores, 174 domestic and international retail kiosks located in malls and other high foot traffic areas, and 32 outlet stores. The company was formerly known as Western Brands, LLC and changed its name to Crocs, Inc. in January 2005. Crocs, Inc. was founded in 1999 and is based in Niwot, Colorado. |
