It serves various industries, including industrial manufacturing, repair and maintenance, non-residential construction, medical, wholesale trade, food products, petrochemical, utilities and mining, analytical, and transportation. Airgas markets its products through a range of channels, including branch-based sales representatives, retail stores, strategic customer account programs, telesales, catalogs, e-business, and independent distributors. As of March 31, 2007, it operated an integrated network of approximately 900 locations, including production facilities, packaged gas fill plants, specialty gas labs, distribution centers, branches, and retail stores.
