It also holds 85% interest in the Dalny mine, which consists of 321 precious metal blocks with 40 base minerals blocks covering a total area of 4,125 hectares located near Chakari village, Mashonaland West province; and the Golden Quarry mine that includes 3 blocks of claims covering an area of approximately 120 hectares located near Shurugwi, Midlands province. The company was formerly known as Resource Ventures Inc and changed its name to New Dawn Mining Corp. in August 2006. New Dawn Mining Corp. was incorporated in 1999 and is based in Toronto, Canada.
