West Cirque Assays up to 17.2 g/t Au From Samples at Kennedy Canyon

Vancouver, B.C., February 13, 2012: West Cirque Resources Ltd. (WCQ: TSX-V) announces additional gold and silver assays from the Kennedy Canyon Project, Nevada. The rock samples are from a zone of hematite-copper-gold-silver mineralization which is exposed over an area of approximately 150 by 650 metres. Mineralization consists of structurally controlled quartz-hematite stockworks and breccias with chalcopyrite and secondary copper within broader zones of sheeted quartz veins and quartz stockworks. The mineralized zone is located approximately 800 metres east of the Gold Note Zone, which returned previously reported assays up to 20.1 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au; West Cirque Resources News Release, November 22, 2011).

Assays of eleven rock chip and grab samples from outcrops and mine dumps returned up to 17.2 grams per tonne (g/t) gold (Au) and 932 g/t silver (Ag):

The Kennedy Canyon Property is located in eastern Pershing County, Nevada, about 75 kilometres south of Winnemucca. The Property covers part of the Kennedy Mining District, which has a history of small scale gold mining dating to the 1890's.

Sample preparation was carried out at ALS Minerals' Winnemucca facility and analyses were completed at their North Vancouver lab. Samples were analyzed for 35 elements by aqua regia acid digestion and ICP-AES, while gold was analyzed by fire assay (30 gram nominal sample weight), aqua regia digestion and ICP-AES. Over limit gold (>10 g/t) was analyzed by fire assay (30 gram nominal sample weight) and gravimetric finish.
