Wall Street Fundamentals Releases New In-Depth Stock Reports on AVGO, INTC, RFMD and TQNT

The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) recently reported that global sales of semiconductors totaled $26.28 billion in January, which was the highest sales total ever for January and an increase of 8.8 percent year-over-year. Sales in the Americas region experienced 17.3 percent year-over-year growth in January. "The global semiconductor industry has built on its record revenues from 2013 with an impressive start to 2014, led largely by continued strength in the Americas market," said Brian Toohey, president and CEO, Semiconductor Industry Association. "Sales in January were up across most regions and nearly all product categories compared to last January, which bodes well for continued growth during the rest of 2014." Here is how some semiconductor stocks reacted Wednesday:

Avago Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ:AVGO - News) shares traded in the range of $62.12 to $64.88 Wednesday before settling to close at $62.81, a decrease of 1.86 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $63.61 and $66.28 levels with some support at $61.77 and $59.52. Shares of Avago Technologies are up approximately 18.0 percent year-to-date.

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC - News) shares traded in the range of $25.32 to $25.74 Wednesday before settling to close at $25.38, a decrease of 0.33 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $25.50 and $25.95 levels with some support at $25.22 and $24.93. Shares of Intel have fallen approximately 2.0 percent year-to-date.

RF Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ:RFMD - News) shares traded in the range of $7.53 to $7.84 Wednesday before settling to close at $7.57, a decrease of 2.70 percent. The stock appears to be facing some resistance at the $7.65 and $8.13 levels with some support at $7.18 and $6.62. Shares of RF Micro Devices are up approximately 46.0 percent year-to-date.
