Val-d'Or, Quebec, February 16, 2012, - Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V: KNX) is pleased to announce that its ongoing compilation of the increased Trecesson Gold Property land position (5,400 ha, 54 square km) has determined the location of five forgotten potential quartz-gold bearing structures within the granitic pluton. These structures/veins encompass:
1) The Spirit Lake Area, +500m of strike length, 2.8 km north of the Cossette gold system.
2) A 457m quartz vein to the south east of the Spirit Lake Area and 2.5 km east of the Cossette gold system (1937 Kongor Mining-GM 08067).
3) A +500m quartz vein in the south west portion of the pluton, 2.2km southwest of the Cossette gold system (MRNFQ DP 199 & RG 194-1973-79).
4) A +185m quartz vein proximal to the southern margin of the pluton, 2.8 km south southeast of the Cossette gold system. (MRNFQ DP 199 & RG 194-1973-79)
5) Approximately 2km to the east of the Cossette Gold System a +27 m quartz vein (1937 Kongor Mining-GM 08067).
The Trecesson Pluton is suggestive of the Bourlamaque Batholith which is host to at least 9 known deposits in the Val d'Or mining camp that gave rise to producers and past producers including the Ferderber and Beaufor gold mines.
The Trecesson Gold Property has been selected as one of the exhibitors for the Core Shack display at the PDAC in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, March 4 to 7, 2012. Knicks'-Trecesson Gold Property display will be located on the 700 Level, Booth 5008, for two days only, Sunday the 4th and Monday the 5th.
