TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - December 15, 2014) - Sunwing Vacations is delighted to announce the arrival of a new all inclusive hotel chain, Starfish Resorts, that will be available exclusively through the tour operator. Catering to clients of all ages, Starfish Resorts promises to deliver an active schedule of social events, dance classes, and sports activities at an outstanding, value price. Comfortable accommodations, 24/7 all inclusive features, a lively atmosphere and friendly service will make Starfish Resorts the ideal vacation destination for more budget-conscious sun seekers.

The first Starfish Resort to open will be the Starfish Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba. Previously operated as La Estrella, Cayo Santa Maria, the all suite Starfish Cayo Santa Maria is surrounded by verdant flora with two expansive, pristine free-form swimming pools. Comfortable and spacious accommodation options include junior suites and suites with stunning views of the ocean or tropical gardens. In-suite features include room service, a mini bar, coffee maker, and in-room safe, along with signature Starfish amenities.

Guests can enjoy global culinary delights at any of the six distinct buffet and à la carte restaurants, which will offer a variety of dining options to please all appetites. The resort is equipped with four separate bars, where friendly bartenders are happy to serve up a guest's favourite cocktail or a signature drink. In addition, 24-hour food and beverage service is available.

The all inclusive program offers an array of activities, ranging from snorkelling and kayaking during the day to the disco and entertainment theatre at night. Families will appreciate the supervised kids club and activities, while couples may wish to make use of the dedicated on-property romance and wedding planner. Beyond the all inclusive plan, guests can choose to take advantage of additional on-site services for purchase, including motorized water sports rentals, massage and beauty treatments, jeep and scooter rentals, babysitting services, and more.

What's more, with direct flights to Cayo Santa Maria being offered from 17 different Canadian gateways this winter together with a daily schedule from both Montreal and Toronto for the first time, it's now even easier for our customers to experience this new resort experience for themselves."

A week's stay at the all inclusive Starfish Cayo Santa Maria starts from $475 plus $315 taxes per person based on two people sharing a Junior Suite, departing January 06, 08 or 13, 2015.
