The world's No. 1 wireless provider won't be selling Apple's (AAPL) iPhone 5, according to a research report by Nomura, because the smartphone doesn't work on China Mobile's TD-LTE network. Apple will need help from Qualcomm (QCOM) to make the iPhone compatible with China Mobile's (CHL) home-grown technology. Nomura said China Unicom (CHU) will start selling iPhone 5 in Dec. China Mobile shares rose 0.9% to 53.80.
