Minemakers Limited: Environmental and Community Support Approvals Secured for Baobab Phosphate Project

PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 9, 2015) -

  • Final Small Mine Permit approvals secured

  • Decision to proceed with mining within the Baobab Small Mine Permit area expected shortly

  • Project development on track for mid 2016 commercial production

Minemakers Limited ("Minemakers") (MAK.TO)(MAK.TO) is pleased to announce that the final government approval has been secured ahead of a decision to mine at the Baobab Phosphate Project in the Republic of Senegal.

Final approval of the Environment Impact Study and Community Support and Relocation Plan has been granted allowing the Minemakers Board of Directors to make the decision to proceed with mining. This decision will allow expenditure on key works and commitments for capital expenditure to be made to ensure that the Baobab Project is on track for commercial production by mid 2016.
