For this open-air concert, the sounds of boats, locomotives, and other urban instruments, including the bells of Notre-Dame Basilica, will join forces for a most unusual, original work. This year's Port Symphonies are putting India in the spotlight with the highly-anticipated presence of Sandeep Bhagwati—a composer originally from Mumbai, India, now living in Montréal—who will present an original composition titled Rives & Dérives.
