Knick Active In Spirit Lake Gold Area, Trecesson Property, Quebec

Val-d'Or, Quebec / ACCESSWIRE / October 2, 2014, / Knick Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:KNX.V - News) is pleased to report that Knick's field crew is working in the Spirit Lake Gold Area of its Trecesson property, Quebec.

A grid has been established and geological mapping, sampling and geophysical surveys are being performed where initial prospecting and sampling by Knick in 2011 located trench workings and returned gold. During the 2011 prospecting 65 samples were collected of which 40.0% assayed greater than 0.1g/t gold and 10.8% assayed greater than 1.0g/t. Results greater than 1g/t gold, previously released, are tabled below.

The Spirit Lake Gold Area is located approximately 3.0km north of Knick's 2011 Phase I drilling on the north-south trending Cossette Gold System, also situated on the company's Trecesson Property.

ADVERTISEMENT

Samples were sent to Expert Laboratory in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec for analysis. Fire assay and metallic sieve methods were implemented for analysis as deemed warranted. The company includes standards and blanks within its sample submittals. Alternate laboratories are used for substantiation of results on pulps and rejects as warranted and required.
