VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - July 11, 2016) - INDOCHINO, the world's largest made-to-measure men's apparel company and Canadian ecommerce success story, is rapidly expanding its brick-and-mortar presence in Canada. Following retail successes in Toronto and Vancouver, INDOCHINO is announcing the openings of two new showrooms -- a third location in the Greater Toronto Area and a first location in Ottawa.

Making a commitment to suit up more Canadian men this year than ever before, INDOCHINO plans to open several showrooms in the back half of 2016. Officially opening on July 11th, the Yorkdale showroom, a modern and bright 2,200 square foot suit mecca, is the second location to open this year.

Yorkdale is Canada's premier shopping centre, located in the heart of the Greater Toronto Area. Its exclusive list of retailers is highlighted by many first-in-Canada and flagship stores, including J.Crew, Tory Burch, Crate & Barrel and Burberry, as well as such sought-after destinations as Tiffany & Co., Holt Renfrew, Apple and Cartier.

"Yorkdale is the gold standard for mall shopping in North America, attracting some of the most affluent brands and over 2.5 million customers every month," said Drew Green, INDOCHINO's Chief Executive Officer. "It is with great pride that we join the ranks of world-leading fashion brands in Yorkdale with our innovative approach to made-to-measure apparel."

On August 11th, INDOCHINO will open its first ever showroom in Ottawa, the nation's capital and home to the Canadian Parliament. Rideau Centre is Ottawa's biggest shopping centre, situated in the downtown core where INDOCHINO aims to attract the city's multitude of suit wearers.

INDOCHINO showrooms are a living extension of the company's online made-to-measure experience. Customers shop by appointment with a Style Guide-in-house suit experts-who will advise on fabric selection and customizations, and take their measurements. The showrooms' design blends the brand's core elements of style and technology to create a space that is exciting, modern and bright, boasting comfortable reception areas and lounges dedicated to serving groom parties and other groups.

"INDOCHINO is the evolution of menswear and the showroom sets the stage for the ultimate made-to-measure experience," said Dean Handspiker, Senior Director of Retail at INDOCHINO. "We combine age old traditions of made-to-measure tailoring with sophisticated proprietary technology, making it easy for today's man to suit up and look great."

"We're very pleased to welcome INDOCHINO to Yorkdale Shopping Centre," said Michel Brouillard, Vice President, Retail Leasing at Oxford Properties Group. "At Oxford, we're always striving to bring our shopping centres the best of the best, and there's no doubt that INDOCHINO will be a great addition to the caliber of retailers available at Yorkdale. We think this will be very well received by our shoppers and we look forward to seeing INDOCHINO garment bags throughout the mall."

The announcement follows a stellar six months as INDOCHINO continues on its mission to sell a million made-to-measure suits a year and open 150 retail stores globally by 2020. In the first half of 2016, the company achieved 66% year-over-year sales growth, anchored by 76% in year-over-year in-store sales and a 76% increase in new customers omni-channel. In addition, the company sold more suits and shirts in Q2 2016 than it did in the combined first two quarters of 2015.
