Google+ trends: Teen Top, Microsoft

On Wednesday, June 26, Google+ users are looking forward to the third anniversary of South Korean boyband Teen Top and discussing Microsoft's annual developers conference, which takes place Wednesday.

Teen Top formed back in 2010 and released their debut single "Clap" the same year. The single was taken from their debut EP "Come Into The World," which dropped on July 9 the same year. Since then the band, which was formed by T.O.P. media, has seen its popularity rocket and on June 24 it was announced that tickets to the Teen Top Summer Special concert, which takes place on July 14-15 at Pacifico Yokohama, Japan, had sold out within five minutes of going on sale.

Google+ users who are fans of the band are getting excited about a Google Hangout that will take place on July 7 to celebrate the group's third anniversary. In order to be in with a chance of taking part in the Hangout, fans of the band are being encouraged to trend "#teentop3rd" and share images and artwork dedicated to the band. More information can be found via Teen Top's official Google+ page at: plus.google.com/u/0/+teentopofficial/posts/9YT8VPRTDZD

Elsewhere on Google+ users of the social network are discussing Microsoft's developers conference in San Francisco, which begins at 9am local time on June 26 and runs until 3pm local time on June 28. Many of the updates expected to come out of the conference are already known, perhaps the biggest of which is a release of a preview of Windows 8.1 before it becomes available to the general public later in the year. Rumors are also circulating that Microsoft will release a smaller version of its Surface tablet at the conference.
