NOT FOR DISTRIBUTION TO UNITED STATES NEWSWIRE SERVICES OR FOR DISSEMINATION IN THE UNITED STATES

Global Summit Real Estate Inc. ("Global Summit") today announced that Global Summit's Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.037603 per voting and non-voting common share of Global Summit payable on January 27, 2012 to shareholders of record on January 23, 2012. Valued at $90 million, these dividends are eligible dividends within the meaning of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
