Computershare Canada Completes Acquisition of Valiant Trust Company Assets

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - May 01, 2015) - Computershare Limited (CPU.AX) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the Valiant Trust Company ("Valiant") assets from Canadian Western Bank (CWB.TO). The purchase includes the stock transfer, employee plans services and corporate trust businesses of Valiant across Canada.

Based in Calgary, Valiant was founded in 1993. It provides services to approximately 450 issuer clients across Canada, including a large number of private issuers.
