Chevron's South Africa unit has prepared for strike: statement
CAPE TOWN (Reuters) - Cheveron's South African unit has prepared for a strike by a major union over wages and will do as much as possible to maintain fuel supplies, the company said on Thursday. South Africa's largest oil refinery, a joint venture between Shell and BP, stopped operations earlier on Thursday when the strike began.
