CDI College's Ontario Campus Offers Early Childcare Assistant Program

SCARBOROUGH, ON--(Marketwired - November 05, 2014) - CDI College in Ontario is offering a new program for those interested in pursuing a career as an early childcare assistant.

Available at CDI College's Scarborough, Ont. campus, the 40-week Early Childcare Assistant program immerses students in a dynamic environment where they will acquire the necessary skills to help guide and nurture children at a young age.

As the number of childcare facilities continues to grow, so does the demand for early childhood educators. Early childhood education centres and daycare centres look for individuals with specific skills and training. CDI College provides students with a well-rounded, comprehensive curriculum that focuses on topics such as toddler development, guiding children, nutrition, and more. Courses at the school are taught by industry professionals and cover theoretical and practical areas of the field.

Taking part in the growth of a child is a rewarding experience. Prior to graduation, students will partake in two practica during the program. The first will take place in an infant/toddler setting while the second will focus on preschool. Students will be evaluated according to the NACC Early Childcare Assistant Handbooks.
