MONTREAL - Air Canada (TSX:AC-A.TO - News) plans to begin flying daily, non-stop flights between Toronto and Tokyo-Haneda airport, beginning next July 1.

The airline will serve the route with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, a new generation of plane that Air Canada will begin flying next year.

The Toronto-Haneda route will complement Air Canada's existing flights to Tokyo's Narita airport from Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

The airline will begin selling tickets for the route on Dec. 10.
